This class is for those who are novice as well as for those who want to take their yoga practice to a higher level. However, this class can be enjoyed by students at all levels: beginners to seasoned practitioners. The participants are prompted to use the props and are guided to adapt the asanas to find ease and comfort in their posture. (YS 2:46 sthirasukham asanam) Each class begins with centering and grounding, and ends with a deep relaxation. Many variations and additions are offered so that both beginners and seasoned practitioners can choose to practice at their level of comfort. Participants are encouraged to listen to their body, and options are given to those who wish to further challenge their strength, flexibility & endurance. Pranayama techniques and meditation are introduced and practiced in this class.
If you sign up and pay for any YogaSheila activity and are unable to attend please contact us to cancel at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled start time. You receive a refund minus a 15% fee, or you can get a full refund credited to your YogaSheila studio account (this credit can be used toward any purchase for up to 6 months). If we receive your cancellation request less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled start time of the activity, a refund minus 25% deducted from the payment. Cancellation requests must be made by email to: firstname.lastname@example.org If you cancel on the day of or after the program has taken place, a refund minus 40% will be deducted from the payment. There are no make-up class or discount for any missed classes. An activity could occasionally be cancelled by the studio if there’s insufficient interest, or if a teacher has an emergency. If cancelled you will be notified by email as soon as possible, and you will receive a full refund or full credit toward your YogaSheila Studio account if you choose.
